Describe what you do at Bahamia Rental.
As operations manager, I do a little of everything. I maintain client relationships, assist with supervising the retail party supplies store, monitor and coordinate the day-to-day affairs of warehousing and delivery and supervise the sales team.
What do you enjoy most about working here?
The people I work with. Every day is a pleasure to come into work. I love my job because of them.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to eat (because I’m a foodie at heart), dance and play sports.
Where’s your favorite spot to grab a bite?
I would say my mother’s kitchen because she is the best cook in Nassau - hands down; but when I’m not eating out of her pot, I like to stop by The Caves to get a tropical conch salad. It’s a far drive but it’s the best!
Where are your 'people' from?
My mother is from Long Island and my father is from New Providence and Turks and Caicos.
What's one thing many may not know about you?
Many people would not believe that I’m actually very shy. I perform on stage quite a bit and rush for a big Junkanoo group, so people are usually surprised to learn that I get nervous very easily or that I’m shy.
